Privacy
Policy.
We collect only what we need to run the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not serve ads. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Overview
PolyEdge ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data.
This policy applies to all users of the PolyEdge platform, including visitors, free-tier users, and paid subscribers. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described here.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not serve advertising. We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the Platform.
Data We Collect
Email address — used for account identification, login, and transactional notifications (subscription confirmations, plan changes).
Password — stored as a bcrypt hash. We cannot recover or view your password.
Account creation date and subscription tier.
Wallet addresses (EOA and Safe wallet) — used to identify your Polymarket account, verify payments, and submit trades on your behalf.
Encrypted private key — if you enable automated trading, your private key is stored encrypted using AES-256 (Fernet). The encryption key is unique to our infrastructure. PolyEdge staff cannot view or export your unencrypted private key.
Bot configurations — trading parameters you set, including capital limits, stop-loss settings, trader wallets you copy, and notification preferences.
Trade history — records of orders placed and filled on your behalf, including market, size, price, and outcome.
Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the Platform.
IP address and approximate geolocation (country/region level).
Browser type, operating system, and device type.
Session identifiers stored in localStorage (not cookies).
USDC transaction hashes submitted for subscription activation.
Polygon wallet addresses used for payment.
Payment amounts and timestamps.
We do not collect or store credit card numbers. All payments are on-chain crypto transactions.
Content of support tickets and messages you submit.
Feature feedback and NPS scores you provide.
How We Use Your Data
Account data is used to authenticate you, maintain your session, and send essential transactional emails (subscription confirmations, expiry notices, security alerts). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
Wallet and trading data is used to execute your bot configurations on Polymarket, display your trading history and performance metrics, and verify payments made to activate subscriptions.
Usage data is used to monitor platform performance, debug errors, detect abuse, and improve the Platform. Aggregate, anonymised usage statistics may be used to guide product development.
Payment data is used to verify and activate subscriptions, investigate payment disputes, and maintain financial records required by law.
We do not use your data for algorithmic profiling, targeted advertising, or sale to data brokers.
On-Chain Data & Blockchain Transparency
Blockchain networks are public by design. Any transaction submitted to the Polygon network — including trades placed by your bots and subscription payments — is permanently visible on-chain and cannot be deleted or obscured.
Your wallet address, trade sizes, market positions, and transaction history are visible to anyone who queries the Polygon blockchain or Polymarket's public data. This is a fundamental property of blockchain technology and outside PolyEdge's control.
PolyEdge's builder attribution is embedded in CLOB order metadata submitted to Polymarket. This is required for builder program participation and does not expose your personal identity, only your wallet address.
We use Polygonscan (Etherscan V2) to verify on-chain payment transactions. Your payment transaction hash and wallet address are transmitted to Polygonscan's API during payment verification.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
We share data with the following categories of service providers solely to operate the Platform:
— Polymarket: trade orders are submitted to Polymarket's CLOB API. Polymarket's own privacy policy governs their data handling.
— Polygon network / Alchemy: blockchain RPC provider used to read balances and submit transactions. Transaction data is public on-chain.
— Polygonscan (Etherscan): used to verify USDC payment transactions. Payment hashes are transmitted to their API.
— Hostinger SMTP: used to send transactional emails. Your email address is transmitted to their servers to deliver messages.
We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of PolyEdge or its users.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with prior notice to affected users.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers located within the EU. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.
Private keys are encrypted at rest using Fernet (AES-128-CBC with HMAC-SHA256). Encryption keys are stored separately from the encrypted data. Access to encryption infrastructure is restricted to automated systems.
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a work factor appropriate to current hardware. We do not store plaintext passwords.
JWT session tokens are signed with a secret key. Sessions expire after 7 days of inactivity.
Despite these measures, no security system is impenetrable. You should use a strong, unique password and enable additional security measures available in your account settings.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with applicable law.
Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after account deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Trade history and bot logs are retained for 12 months from the date of the trade.
Payment records are retained for 7 years for financial compliance purposes.
Support ticket content is retained for 2 years.
Usage logs (IP addresses, session data) are retained for 90 days.
On-chain transaction data (wallet addresses, transaction hashes) is permanently public on the Polygon blockchain and cannot be deleted by PolyEdge or anyone else.
localStorage & Client-Side Storage
PolyEdge does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage exclusively for session management and user preferences.
The following keys are stored in your browser's localStorage:
— auth_token: your JWT session token, used to authenticate API requests. Cleared on logout.
— pe_dark_mode: your dark/light mode preference ('true' or 'false'). Persists across sessions.
— pe_font_prefs: your font preferences for the dashboard interface. Persists across sessions.
— bot_* keys: cached bot state for the copy-trading interface. Cleared on logout.
— pe_lb_prev: leaderboard cache. Cleared on logout.
No localStorage data is transmitted to third-party advertising or analytics platforms. You can clear localStorage at any time via your browser's developer tools or by logging out.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
— Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
— Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
— Erasure: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
— Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format.
— Objection: object to certain processing of your data.
— Restriction: request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@polyedge.online. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Note that on-chain data (wallet addresses, transaction hashes) cannot be deleted as it is permanently embedded in the blockchain.
Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@polyedge.online and we will take steps to delete that information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
This policy was last updated on June 15, 2025.
